Cross country is longer distance running. Our races are 5Ks (about 3.1 miles), held on Saturdays or after school on weekdays. We train every day after school and on Saturday mornings. Summer running is strongly encouraged. Besides logging many miles, we enjoy team dinners, a few fundraisers and some wacky traditions. We cover a lot of ground, work hard and have fun! Join us!

Shoes: invest in good running shoes to prevent injury Spikes: optional, for running meets Watch: optional, useful for tracking running We suggest going to a store specifically for running shoes. They can help you find the right shoes. Good places in Ann Arbor include Tortoise and Hare and Running Fit. Mention you are from an Ann Arbor high school team and most of these local stores give discounts!
